WHAT TO EXPECT
WELCOME BROCHURE
Once you’ve booked your equine portrait session, you’ll receive your preparation guide to help you feel completely ready and confident. This includes outfit suggestions, tips for preparing your horse, and what to expect on the day.
We’ll also discuss locations around your yard or chosen venue and the style of images you’d love to create. If you’d like help choosing outfits or planning the feel of the shoot, I’m always just a message away — I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
THE PHOTOSHOOT
Your session will be relaxed, enjoyable, and entirely tailored to you and your horse. We’ll explore beautiful areas around your location, taking time to create a variety of portraits;. including images together and of your horse alone. You’ll never be rushed, and I’ll gently guide you through posing and how to hold yourself naturally, even if you’ve never had professional photos before. The experience feels more like spending meaningful time with your horse than a traditional photoshoot.
Once we have created a gorgeous set of images, I will edit your images in my unique style within 2-3 weeks.
DELIVERY
Within 2–3 weeks, you’ll receive a private online viewing gallery where you can revisit your session and choose the images you’d love to keep. From there, you can select from fine art prints, albums, wall art, framed pieces, or digital collections — only investing in what you truly love.
If you’d like support designing the perfect artwork for your home, I’m happy to guide you through styling, sizing, and display options.
Your finished pieces will then be professionally produced and delivered to you, ready to enjoy for years to come.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
I recommend booking 6-8 weeks in advance, especially if you are hoping for a weekend session or a specific peak seasonal date. During busy times of year, particularly spring, summer and autumn, dates can fill much faster, so the earlier you enquire, the more likely I can secure your preferred time.
WHAT DO MOST CLIENTS SPEND?
Most clients invest between £500 and £2000 on their session and finished artwork. This can vary hugely depending on what you fall in love with, whether that’s a selection of digital images, a statement wall piece, or a collection of fine art prints and albums. I’ll guide you through options so you can choose what feels right for you.
HOW MANY HORSES OR PEOPLE ARE INCLUDED IN THE SHOOT?
There is no limit! Your session is tailored to you, your horses, and anyone you’d like involved.
HOW MANY OUTFITS DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Three usually works perfectly: casual, smart-casual and smart. This gives variety while keeping the session relaxed.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY SESSION?
All clients receive complimentary preparation guides covering what to wear, styling advice, horse prep tips, and what to expect on the day.
CAN I SPREAD THE COST?
Yes. I offer 0% interest payment plans, making it easy to invest in the artwork and products you truly want. Payment plans can be spread over several months and tailored to suit your needs.
HOW DO I BOOK?

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
British weather can be unpredictable, so we stay flexible. We can adjust the time on the day to dodge showers, pause briefly if needed, or move the shoot entirely. There is no charge for rescheduling due to weather.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
There is no limit. National or international travel is available. Travel within 50 miles of my Dorset base is included in the session fee.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
A wide range of beautiful artwork options, starting from £45. These include Fine Art prints, mounted prints, frames, multi-aperture designs, albums, wall art and high-resolution digital collections.
