HELLO THERE!

I'm Emma.

Horses have been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home where there was always at least one horse in the garden, and my mum’s thoroughbred, Bertie, was the first to spark that lifelong fascination. I got my first pony, Max, a cheeky Dartmoor, in 2012, followed closely by Skye, my pride and joy,  and later Goldie, my much-loved ex-racehorse. I’ve been riding since I was four, and even though life is busier now, that feeling of being around horses has never faded.

Photography came just as naturally. I was the child constantly “borrowing” the family camera, leaving prints scattered around the house and capturing absolutely anything that caught my eye. It wasn’t until 2017, when I had the privilege of working with a show team of Suffolk Punch mares, that everything truly came together. That experience not only deepened my love for rare breeds, it ignited a passion for equine photography that has grown every year since.

Today, I’m driven by more than just creating beautiful images, I want to capture stories, connections, and the kind of moments that become memories. Every horse, every partnership, every session holds something unique, and it’s a privilege to document it.

I’m based in Shaftesbury, North Dorset, where I live with my fiance three horses, Max, Skye and Goldie, and two cats, Bug and Jess, plus my parents’ tribe of four. When I’m not behind the camera or at the yard, you’ll usually find me following Yeovil Town FC across the country, at a metal gig, or at Download Festival every June.

Warm, friendly, and deeply connected to the equestrian world — that’s the heart behind everything I do.
